This follows the approval for replacement employment with reference number FA.228/613/01/B/040 dated 15/03/2024 for the positions of Street Executive Grade III and Driver Grade II from the Secretary General of the Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance regarding new employment.
Open Position and Description
1. Street Executive III – 2 Positions
- Responsibilities: The Street Committee secretary. Head of the Street. coordinator of the Council’s enforcement of laws and regulations in the Street. Advisor for Street Committee regarding proposals for street development.
- Qualifications: Employed with a Form Four/Six education and a Certificate (NTA LEVEL 5) from Hombolo Local Government Training Institute or any other accredited government institution in any of the following fields: administration, law, community education, financial management, community development, or social sciences.
- Salary: TGS B1 each month in accordance with the government salary system.
2. Driver II
- Qualifications: employed with a Form Four Certificate, a Class C or E driver’s license, and a minimum of one year’s worth of experience behind the wheel without a collision. Must have completed a foundational driving course from NIT, VETA, or any other authorized government agency.
- Responsibilities: Examine the car both before and after the drive to determine its level of safety. escort employees on business travels to various locations.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Except for individuals who are currently employed by the government, all applicants must be Tanzanian citizens between the ages of 18 and 45;
