Day-to-day team management and the provision of strategic and coordinated inputs for supply chain functions (warehousing, logistics, fleet, office, and asset management) guarantee the seamless operation of support functions to fulfill program requirements in compliance with donor, government, and DRC Operations Handbook regulations.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the team to guarantee efficient vehicle assignment, passenger and fuel economy, and movement prioritization.
• Ensure that all field offices follow the Assets and Equipment Management section of the Operation Handbook volume, including all updated policies on the DRC intranet.
• Ensuring complete adherence to inventory control regulations.
• Oversee the upkeep and repairs of the office’s furnishings, equipment, generator, and fuel.
• Attend BFU meetings and oversee pertinent budgets and estimates for pertinent tasks, such as driver travel, fuel, and maintenance.

Eligibility and Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with practical experience.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• A minimum of five years’ experience working in humanitarian supply chains
• Three years or more of experience managing people in a supervisory, team-leading, or managing roles
• Understanding of the project cycle
• Understanding of asset management and logistics in particular for the supply chain
• Understanding of the budget cycle and process monitoring
• Understanding of important donor regulations and guidelines, such as those of the UNHCR, Danida
• Familiarity with DRC Dynamics or a related ERP system.
