Our more than 4,000 experts are employed in more than 60 nations worldwide. For our EpiC project in Tanzania, we are currently looking for properly qualified applicants to fill the post of Regional Finance and Grants Officer in Dar es Salaam.
Main Responsibilities
- Keep a tight eye on the financial and managerial performance of subawardees in the area.
- Make routine site visits to subawardees in order to monitor compliance, inquire about specific award terms, and offer coaching and assistance for capacity building.
- Examine subawardee supporting documentation (timesheets, receipts, etc.), monthly program reports, and monthly invoices before submitting it to the EpiC Tanzania headquarters.
- Create and oversee a regional budget for EpiC Tanzania, and monitor all regional spending and activities.
- Compile financial reports and other documents as needed, following EpiC guidelines.
Eligibility and Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, or
- 3-5 years of relevant experience from a master’s degree in a related subject.
- Two years minimum of expertise in financial reporting and management.
- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience managing grants for regional organizations, including strengthening management and financial system capabilities.
