Responsibilities:
- Recognize and carry out the process plant operating accountabilities in accordance with Tanzania Mining Commission regulations.
- Make sure that all legal requirements are followed, as well as Barrick Safety, Health, and Environmental guidelines.
- Weekly routine duties related to metallurgy, as detailed in the tasks listed below,
- Your areas of concentration will be related to assigned test works and sampling in the metallurgical laboratory.
- Gathering information for metallurgical account reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- In charge of the plant’s numerous metallurgical operations as well as daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- In charge of several metallurgical test operations (BRT) related to plant recovery and an understanding of the ore feed blend.
- Accountable for the weekly and monthly supply chain reconciliation of reagents and consumables.
- Take part in plant troubleshooting with the engineering and operation teams.
Qualification requirements:
- Ideally, a 2022 and 2023 graduate.
- Engineering degree in metallurgy or mineral processes
- Using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, and a valid driver’s license are all require levels of computer literacy.
- Understanding the Mines Health and Safety Act.
Experience and competencies needed:
- Knowledgeable with many of the theories, methods, and practices used in the metallurgical sector.
- Minimum of field experience or practical training in the processing of gold.
- Acquainted with SOPs related to processing gold plants.
- Essentials of Enhancing Business Performance.
- Metallurgical Sample Gathering, Filing, and Testing
