Data analysts gather, analyze, and create information that supports other people’s decision-making through the use of specialized technologies. They will respond to questions about the data and look for anomalies, trends, and patterns in it.
Key Responsibilities
- Assure the maintenance of databases and data systems by gathering information from primary and secondary sources.
- Recognize, investigate, and interpret patterns or trends in complex operational datasets.
- To find and fix code problems, clean up data and carefully examine outputs and reports produced by computers.
- In order to match informational and commercial priorities, collaborate with management.
- Utilize statistical methods to examine data and provide useful business insights.
- Work together with the management group to identify and prioritize the needs of the various business divisions.
- Create charts, data dashboards, and other visual aids to assist departmental decision-making.
Eligibility and Requirements
- It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, statistics, or a similar field; previous experience in data analysis or a related field is helpful but not necessary.
- Requires a minimum of five years of experience in the banking, insurance, port and terminal, or telecommunications sectors.
- Necessitates in-depth familiarity with large-scale transaction data systems and operational processes.
- Requires advanced proficiency in written and spoken English communication.
- Have a strong background in statistics, hands-on expertise with statistical applications (such SAS, Power BI, or Microsoft Excel), and proficiency in data analysis languages like Data Bricks SQL (a plus).
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical skills to accurately and thoroughly gather, organize, analyze, and present large data sets.
