The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) on behalf of the VETA – Lindi College, in collaboration with Equinor Tanzania AS and Shell Exploration and Production Tanzania Ltd, invites students to apply for Level 3 vocational training in six fields offered at VETA Lindi College.

The mission of VETA is to advance vocational education and training throughout the nation. According to VETA, if the general public is given sufficient information about the objectives and operations of VET, they will be able to support it. VET is promoted by informing many stakeholders, including as the government, parents, employers, workers, and donors. In addition, trade unions, NGOs, legislators, instructors, VET graduates, and the media, as well as present and potential trainees.

These disciplines include Welding and Fabrication (WF), Design, Sewing, and Cloth Technology (DSCT), Electrical Installation (EL), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC), Masonry (MB), and Motor Vehicle Mechanics (MVM). After the training is successfully completed, this sponsorship will pay for the startup tools, housing, food, health insurance, and tuition. The 12-month sponsorship period is in effect.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Level III instruction, the student needs to have finished and passed Level II training.
The pupil needs to be in possession of a certificate and have finished Form Four.
Only young people under the age of 35 who are residents or natives of the Lindi region are eligible for sponsorship.
Female students, individuals with support needs or impairments, those from low-income households, and those without formal jobs will all receive priority.
