The Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) Mentorship Coordinator is in charge of creating, organizing, and managing an efficient mentoring program that fits the objectives and requirements of both the TWCC and program participants. In order to guarantee the success and efficacy of the mentorship program, this function entails organizing, carrying out, and supervising all of its components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, organize, and carry out the Mentorship Program in line with the goals of TWCC and the requirements of the participants.
  • Throughout the program, establish and uphold best practices, standards, and procedures to guarantee its efficacy and integrity.
  • Lead, organize, and oversee the start-up, conclusion, and any other pertinent workshops or activities for the Mentorship Program as needed.
  • To increase program efficacy, stay up to date on knowledge that is pertinent to mentoring methods and current research.
  • Orient people and take part in the process of choosing project beneficiaries.
  • When finances permit, take advantage of external professional development opportunities and conferences.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, marketing, business administration, economics, etc.
  • Professional certifications in communications, M&E, or project management will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in business development services, coaching and mentoring, development, or community involvement.
  • It will be advantageous to have knowledge about Tanzania’s private sector and business climate.
  • Experience in roles akin to program coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizing abilities.
  • The capacity to collaborate well with a variety of parties.
  • Understanding of program evaluation and mentoring techniques.
  • Proficiency at writing reports and managing databases.
  • The capacity to function both alone and together.
  • Dedication to empowering women and promoting gender equality.
