key Responsibilities
- To take part in the crew briefing given by the pilot-in-command and familiarize himself with all pertinent meteorological and aeronautical data.
- To get the OFP ready and, if needed, submit the ATS Flight Plan to the relevant authority.
- To accomplish the tasks assigned to him by the pilot-in-command about the flight in compliance with SOP, including constraints, procedures, and performance linked to the particular aircraft type;
- To verify the aircraft’s safe navigation by keeping an ongoing, independent check on the aircraft’s position in relation to the terrain and its safe clearance from it.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Must possess a commercial pilot license, be multi-engine certified, and have logged at least 250 hours of flight time with an instrument rating.
- Must have at least ten tons of equipment handling experience and be a high performer.
