Responsibilities:

  • Recognize and carry out the process plant operating accountabilities in accordance with Tanzania Mining Commission regulations.
  • Make sure that all legal requirements are followed, as well as Barrick Safety, Health, and Environmental guidelines.
  • Weekly routine duties related to metallurgy, as detailed in the tasks listed below,
  • Your areas of concentration will be related to assigned test works and sampling in the metallurgical laboratory.
  • Gathering information for metallurgical account reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • In charge of the plant’s numerous metallurgical operations as well as daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • In charge of several metallurgical test operations (BRT) related to plant recovery and an understanding of the ore feed blend.
  • Accountable for the weekly and monthly supply chain reconciliation of reagents and consumables.

Qualification requirements:

  • Ideally, a 2022 and 2023 graduate.
  • Engineering degree in metallurgy or mineral processes
  • Using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, and a valid driver’s license are all require levels of computer literacy.
  • Understanding the Mines Health and Safety Act.

Experience and competencies needed:

  • Knowledgeable with many of the theories, methods, and practices used in the metallurgical sector.
